Made it out for the last goose hunt of the season this AM with a bud. Stopped at Tim Horton's and picked up acouple coffee's and and away I went, pulled into his driveway at around 6:40 and relaxed at the table while I thought of a setup. Walked across the road and began laying out our spread of 53 deke's in a J pattern and just got the painter suit's on and we had 2 comitted to the spread and 2 bird's on the ground. 20 min's later had a single come in and we both unloaded on him with my bud downing it. Had acouple flock's 2 hr's into the shoot of 30 plus bird's cupped but flared when the guy's across the road would shoot at other bird's. But we did manage to put down our limit of 10 bird's having 2 to 6 bird's comming in at a time. Last 2 bird's to complete the morning came in while we were packing it in.
Post a pic when I get it from my bud. |
