Hey guys. I am new here. Seems like a really cool forum. I am looking at buying a Henry lever action .22 magnum for fox hunting and maybe a coon or two. What do yall think of this gun, good for fox? Also do you know of any cheap but still accurate scopes for a .22 magnum. Ohh yeah what type of ammo would be best for fox hunting at about 50-75 yards.

If you want to stay small caliber, I would suggest a .22 hornet. My power and stuff to take down a fox. Varmit hunting is a great way to hunt and typically very cheap or even free if you know some good landowners who might want the varmit pop taken down a notch or two. 100-150.00 will be you a scope.........

I think Simmons still makes a .22 Mag scope. Cheap, but does the job. I don't think the optics are all that bad either.
