I was driving home from work the other night, and noticed some shadows that appeared to be a pack of dogs running up the road just ahead of my headlights. As I approached closer I realized it was five does running up the road. I slowed down, and actually drove by them as they continued to run up the road. I've never seen anything like it.

It happens to me almost every day going to work or coming home.
Last year my wife hit 2 and my daughter hit 1. |

The deer never jog up or down the road, they like running across the road, usually to coincide with traffic. I've hit a few....

Actually, they've both killed their fair share......but we don't have a problem eating road kill venison either.

Reminds me when I drove past a deer and it dropped it's head and charged in to my fender. it jumped up, shook it's head and bolted.
