So I've decided to get a Kyak for my birthday this year. I've been looking at the Old Town models. Does anyone have any experience with the otter or rush? I will be using it for easy paddling and fishing in calm waters (hopefull that is). Right now I do alot of coneing. It's getting to be too much to carry and load that thing by myself though.

I've got the Otter. It's a fun little boat and very easy to transport. Relatively stable and fast in calm water. I've never fished from it though. I think you'd have to rig up a rodholder or some such thing because there's little space to hold gear.

I don't know anything about the Rush though, so I can't give a comparison.
