I just ordered a Remmington Wireless Remote Control Predator Game Call. It works up to 150ft away and the calls it comes with is: coyote greeting, distressed pups, cotton tail, jack rabbit, and fawn bleat. I only paid $30 for it on ebay (I found one to BUY, not bid on, for only $30. The ones for bidding were almost $40-50). I was just wondering if anyone had any feedback about this call.
P.S. I would appreciate it if anyone had any tips or tricks on how I could use it. Thanks guys! |

Oh yes. Here's my field of ignorance. I have an electronic call, don't recall the name, and several mouth calls. WiskeyJaR was over last week and I got to display my ineptude for him. He did get to see a coyote cross the road in front of him on the way home tho.
I haven't a clue what I'm doing wrong but the law of averages will catch up. In the meantime, i take the attitude that it's not the kill, it's the hunt,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,damnit! |

| Don't have a clue about that model call. Take it out and just give it a try and remember to watch your down wind side as that is how they try to approach. |

Don, I had a blast over there, need to do again soon :) Beautifull country.
We did have a coyote answer us a couple times, just never saw fur. But thats just iceing on the cake, the best part is just being out there with good company. Like you said, its just a matter of time before we get one :)
As far as using the calls and such, Don did just like the video follks did in his calling. Just the video folks get to edit out the many times they failed to call anythinig in ::neener: |

| Actually JR, I think that the one you saw crossing the road was one responding to my call. Takes a coyote a while to come in from 30 miles! :yes: |

The caller will probably work- i left my e caller at home this weekend and went with a mouth caller (cotontail) and a howler. I managed to call two coyotes in four sets. Both were w/in fifty yards, but one came in a stayed in a thicket and i couldn't shoot.
Take the caller out and start quiet, don't overcall because they might be right there.
Most important IMO is to SNEAK to your set up. You don't have to see forever, be quiet and don't talk.
