I haven't seen much going on in here for a bit, was just wondering if everyone is still up and about or if ya all went into hibernation for the rest of the winter?

All well around here. It always gets slow about this time of year but picks back up shortly. Not much happening on the hunting scene around here. I am taking the kiddos on a bunny hunt this weekend so we'll see how that goes. It usually ends like a range session for the kids. They love shooting the 22 mag. at the various plastic bottles I always happen to have in the back pack. We may go to the gun club this weekend as well and let them empty a few mags in the handguns.

Hibernating...planning for next year and watching Wild TV around the clock. On Thurs I leave for an ice fishing trip back home with my brother and my nephew - can't wait!

Here is something to look at.

:=D> The local DNR was out saving this nice buck from certain death. Seeing as the water was to deep for the deer to touch bottom, and he couldn't get back up on the ice.
The deer survived to be seen at someones feeder later in the winter.

It would be ashame to lose those genes. Good to see. Hopefully the rest of his winter goes a bit better. I have a lovely piece of land down here where he can run and jump (atleast until next season  ).
