NOTE:i have posted this already in the "Predator" topics page, but i dont want anyone to think im spamming this website. I'm just REALLY desperate to tyr some bobcat hunting and have no clue where to start.
I live in Southern california and was hoping to get some tips or any other info on bobcat hunting, like maybe if you prefer mouth calls or electronic calls and what kinds, things to look, times/dates/locations to look, etc. ive been wanting to try this for a while now, but don't know where to start. i dont want to steal anybody's hunting spot by the way, but i just dont know where or how to hunt them. thanks guys |

| Are you enlisted? I know the bases in S. Cali offer great hunting. If not, wouldn't hurt to make friends with someone on base who hunts. Go with mouth calls. Get some books and if you can cd's on the subject.. Practice like hell. |

We were after coyotes at Lost Lake near Cajon Pass, and on the other side of the mountain, just a little north of Lytle Creek, I have seen 2 within bow shots easy one at 20yds and the other at about 30yds, but I did not have any tags with me at the time. They came in and watched up for a few minutes and then left. |
