Here's an offer to all my friends here. If any ONE member here would like to try shooting in a practice match at 600 & 1000 yards, I will provide you with a loaner rifle, ammo, and any other gear you will need. All you have to bring is bug juice, boots/shoes you don't mind getting muddy, eye/ear protection and willingness to learn. :thumbsup1:
If you already have a suitable rifle and wish to attend you are welcome to bring it. I only have one loaner rifle though.
At the Pascagoula Shooting Club (Moss Point, MS) we will be holding a practice match on the second Sunday of February. Since this is a practice match there is no match fee.
Check www.pascagouladcm.com for more info.
Post here at least a week ahead of time if you are going to be there so I can make the squadding arrangements. |

| Wow, that is a very generous offer. I am afraid I can't take you up on it, but thanks just the same. |

We had a big turn out for this season opening match. Great fun was had by all. Several new shooters gave the long range sport a try and are probably hooked.
Nobody from here showed up but the offer still stands. :D |

| Distances were 600y and 1000y. Each shot is marked and scored individually, no groups. The most common cartridges were (in no particular order) 6.5-284 Norma, .338 Lapua, 7mm Rem Mag, 7mm WSM, .308 Win. .300 Win Mag, .280 Rem, and .260 Rem. |
