What area did you put in for?

July is a long way off - I wish draw results were sooner.

I assume that the "grasslands" are the thunder basin grasslands north of douglas? Lots of antelope but a lot of people and there are a few different areas out there, a good map is a must you can get that map from the forest service office in douglas, they shoud be on the main web site. My friend and I took his dad and grandpa out there 2 years ago, he had the only antelope tag and we all had deer tags he got a nice buck and I got a small deer. His dad and grandpa passed on alot of deer but we saw more antelope than you could shake a stick at. There is a little more info for ya hope you guys draw and hope you have good luck!

My hunting buddy and I made our first trip to Wyoming for antelope last year. Below are some good links that helped us a lot.

We put in for 3 different zones (two around Medicine Bow, one west of Casper) and got drawn for zone 70 just west of Casper....and that was our 3rd choice. It all worked out fine though because we both tagged out on nice bucks the first day. There was very little hunting pressure in our area that day and we had a blast.

Be sure and take a range finder, you'll need it.

Good Luck!

Hey .270Win,

Man, great bucks! :thumbsup1: Just wondering what caliber you used to take that fine animal? Also, what days did you hunt: opening week or more towards the rut? My buddy and I trying to figure our days out and don't want to get into a crowded situation. One more thing, is that BLM land or Public land you were huntin'? Thanks for the pix! YH
