You come up on this hole from downstream. (trout)
What is the first thing you do?
What is going through your mind when you are 15 yards downstream of this angler and walking up on this hole?

| if i was the angler, i would cast up at the base of the swift current and let my fly float/drift on the bottom along on the bank where you took the picture. just from the looks of it there is an undercut that the creek made on the bank where the picture is taken. and undercut is (if you dont know) where the water cuts into the earth and the ground act like cover for fish. another thing too is to toss small micro jigs in there. basically same way that i said before, maby instead of driftingit down on the other side, slowly jig it towards you. if you were the fisherman. and what is going through my mind. DARN IT HES IN MY SPOT. just pass it up, holes not big enough for 2 people |

I'd say hello, ask him if he's had any luck, and then keep moving.
Did a guy try to push you off the spot? |

| I like the looks of the next pool up. Did you get a photo of that one? Where the heck are you finding these streams? I've only seen that stuff in the movies. The green pastures are a great touch. |

| Those are some nice looking streams. How is photobucket working for you? I've been using shutterstock and bigstock. I just do it for fun, but I'm not too impressed with the set up. |
