Have the ducks started to migrated into idaho if they havent were should a person set up or should they just jump creeks or ponds ect.

I'm in northern Idaho ... last weekend I got into what appeared to be `northern' birds (Mallards) ... by their number and how they were acting. Turned out a couple were banded - and I went on line to find out from where ... both were banded in Alberta. Last year I shot a bird banded in Alberta in late October. So, yeah, the birds have started moving. This seems more normal. Last year they came down early.
