We were on the road today and the mule deer seemed to be everywhere. Thankfully I remembered my camera, so thought I'd share a few. :D
Snow is getting deep, so they're not moving as much and they're a bit easier to photograph this time of year. |

Hiker, you're right about the cats. The photos were taken about 15 miles south of Craig and that area is noted for the high population of cats. I know several folks with dogs and they hunt that area. Hope they're out this winter and knock them back a bit.
Redrider the bucks are nice, however that area does not seem to produce heavy beamed antlers. Something in the genetics I'm sure. They always appear more "delicate" to me, even when they're nice and wide or tall. |
