It was slow--BUT lots of folks hunting in LaCrosse area soo we went to Iowa-- man the river is about 4' high giving access to most any place BUT vegetation is covered and ducks can hide at will--not too many folks wjhere we went but not too many dux either- we got 3 mallards and 2 woodies and quit to scout about 9am. might give it a go later today and stay out till quitting time.
