| In Washington you have to use an all lead bullet. I have found some but was wondering if anyone had used some that were better than the rest. I bought some power belt hollow points but supposedly they are more for varmit-deer than elk. They can be polymer tips, and we can use sabots but they cant be jacketed and have to be all lead. thanks |

Personaly I hunt with Patched round ball. Now I may be wrong but I thought in Washington you can't hunt with 209 pec caps so dosent that only leave side locks in flint and percusion .
Some have had luck with lee real bulits.

| No you can use an inline as long as the cap(it can be a #11 or musket) is exposed to the elements. WHich does greatly diminsh which rifles you can use. But there are a few out there. |

Hi csumerall!
Why do you not use the famous Hornady Great Plains Bullets. They are pure lead conicals with hp and perform really well in the game.

Another one to consider is:

although I think they stick to jacketed conicals. |
