My buddy and I have been sittin trying to see that deer that he shot and we've seen no deer since that day that he shot that deer. No does no bucks large or small. No anything. I think the moon has them screwed up a little. We had a trail cam pic of a doe in a scrape at 430 AM on Saturday morning. I think they can see well enough with this moon that they are comin out late.

| Pretty sure I have the worst possible luck in hunting. I have sat probably 20 total times, and never seen a single deer. I don't get it. |

It must be that they were all huddled up in a place that you were not. My son called on his way home from work tonight and said that the deer were really out. He saw about twenty in one group and thirty in another. I don't know his exact travel route, but I think he was working in Blue Springs today and on his way to Roeland Park.
You will find a big one, I am sure of it. |

Yea, but there has been no deer taken on this property during rifle season, and no shots have been fired either.  |

| It's been my experience that after the rut there seems to be a period of absolutely no sign of a deer no matter what you do. It seems to last about 10 days. I believe the rigors of the rut have caught up with them and it is a time of R & R. Very little movement. They will come back out to slowly start their feeding patterns and pre pre-rut activity. Maybe try locating the deepest, nastiest cover you can imagine, otherwise wait it out and hope the activity resumes. I know our area is showing the same activity right now. Good Luck and I hope it works out for you  |

| I've noticed the same lack of activity over the last week or so. But last Sunday saw some does and one buck at a new farm I decided to try up near Potter, KS. I believe you should be seeing more activity this weekend with the weather and the deer having rested after the rut. |

Saw 4 does Wednesday night. They were very relaxed (until I fired an arrow of a branch at one of them). Then saw a BIG buck with a doe. Saw 6 deer total.

Andy,
Don't just drop the "BIG buck" and not elaborate more. Tell us about him and how everything went. |
