| Found the forum and thought I would join you fine folks. I live in Dodge City and hunt deer(whitetail or mulies) with either rifle or muzzle. No trees in my area, so either hunt out of tripod stands or glass and stalk. My sons from the KC area usually come and hunt with me. |

Unfortunately, that guy is not on my property, but I keep an eye on him and am hoping that he might decide some day to move my way. Saturday morning he had a doe with him and another buck seeking her attention.
I am looking for the guy that left these on my property, along with one side the year before. I have never seen him, but know by the evidence he was here.

Welcome MRB,
Mulies, must be alot of fun trying to stalk those boys down. Looking forward to hearing some of your opinions/knowledge here on this forum. |

Thanks for the welcome. Yes mulies are a different hunt. They can be easy prey, but some of the big ones on their turf can be tough.
Here is their turf.

Another shot looking out across the pasture. Note the quail tipees in the foreground.

Here are two mulies taken in 1993. The big one was shot by my sixteen year old son. The last 45 minutes of the hunt my son crawled on his belly through very short pasture grass to get within range and shot the big boy in his bed. The smaller one was bedded with him and I shot him with my muzzleloader.
