My buddy Clay and I went to northeastern Iowa on saturday.
Wisconsin's season closed Sept. 30 and we needed a trout fix.
Iowa has 2 obvious types of waterways...
Catch & Release ONLY (brown trout water)
&
Put & Take (rainbow water)
This the waterway we fished
In the morning we fished the brown area....
I managed 9 browns and Rick didn't do quit so well....
In the afternoon Rick caught about 20 trout....mostly bows...a couple browns...
I managed about 20 trout in the afternoon,,,....mostly bows.... |
