| I just purchased the Leupold rifleman 3x9x40 would this scope be any good to put on a winchester 307 lever action |

| That scope would be fine with that rifle. The 307 is an excellent round even though it didn't catch on that well. |

| The Leupold Rifleman is an excellent scope. It's actually the original Vari-X II just remarketed (according to Leupold). I have one in 2-7X 33mm on one of my rifles. That's the great thing about Leupold, the quality is the same across the line, the only difference in price is in the lense coatings, magnification, and extra features. Meanining that even the lower inexpensive line of Leupold scopes have the same basic quality as the high end line of Leupold scopes. |
