one of the largest outfitters in Idaho with 30 years of experience are looking to sell a 200+ sq. mile area in the bitterroot/selway wilderness area along the beautiful lochsa river. Full base lodge featuring main house with large kitchen/dining room, 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, each with showers. Also 2 cabins with porch, kitchenette, full bathroom with shower, sleeps up to 6 each. all buildings have propane lighting and heat. Also including large corral and barn with very large tack room and lots of hay storage. Lots of elk tags come with the outfit - one of the largest number of allocated tags in the states, we are booked through 2009 in this area and it is where we have made a living over the last 30 years. Base camp is just a mile off scenic highway 12, tons of summer opportunities - trail rides right out of the base camp up to stanley hot springs, a very popular destination for many travelers, also many beautiful lakes to ride to, many nearby rafting companies go right by your front door - renting cabins, etc. Also, all the equipment you will need to get going - tents, horses, mules, cooking equip., the whole nine yards. We are asking $450,000 for everything. sorry for the late reply, we've been gone for a while getting ready for bear season. for now we don't want to disclose the name of the outfit, the area is in unit 12 and 17 along the lochsa and selway rivers. the wolves have had an impact, but we still have good elk hunting and take many nice bulls every fall. many in the 320+ class. if you were interested in talking about purchasing the area or if you are just looking for a hunt let me know, we can talk about it. thanks
