| Just returned from my British Columbia goat hunt, thought I would share my pics.I went on a guided hunt with a/zoutfitters for ten days. The weather was not great so our glassing time was very limited. We spotted thirty or so goats mostly nannies and kids, with two stalks that didnt work out.On the last afternoon we got within 68 yards of a bedded billy, and the .300 weatherby did its job.Luckily he never moved, (no cliff diving). He was nine and three eighths inches and in perfect condition.Hardest hunt I have ever endured though. No amount of exersize could prepare you for that terrain. We also saw some good mulies, elk, moose, and bear. Absolute hunt of a lifetime. |
