| My brother has been hunting a big buck for the last 2 years. This year the buck was a nice 11 pointer. On Wed. morning he heard that someone struck a huge buck with a transport in the area that he hunts, so he went looking for it. He found it and was draging it up to the road when the game wardens stopped. He asked them if he could put his tag on it so he could have the horns. The warden told him no he couldnt because it was struck before legal hunting time, and he wasn't the person who struck it. :o I found out lastnight that when they took it to one of there dump sites one of the wardens took the horns for himself........... :[-X :](*,) Now tell me what ya all think of that?!?!?!? |

Next year I want to get the one that laid a dirty old beating on this guy, just before I shot him last year. I heard the fight, but never saw the other buck. When we skinned this one out he was all bruised up pretty bad, and had been stuck twice in the butt.

Well Monday morning after hunting my stand for 4 days off and on and seeing only does i was able to rattle and call a bruiser in at 8:00am. I got him with one shot to the neck and into the heart at 150 yrds. He took one jump back and dropped. I knew he was around since i saw a monster of a rub three days before but the bucks were not rutting. Anyway this boy had a perfect 18 inch wide 8 point rack with the logest tines being 8 inches. He weighed 225lbs dressed and had not even started to smell musky yet!!!!
goodluck to you all |
