Congrats on a great looking ram! Details man, we need the story with rifle, caliber, equipment that worked and failed. We need to re-live your hunt with you! Who was your outfitter and did they perform as you expected?
Great photos by the way! |

what i was expecting on this trip and what i got where 2 different things. Not all of it the outfitters faught. Do to some family emergencies the outfitter was able to push this trip back a couple of weeks for me. Thank you castlerock outfitters.
We ended up backpacking for this animal which was ok with me. The shot was a 330 yard shot. I was using a ruger m77 stainless in .270wsm. I have a leupold vx-ii 4x12x40 scope. both the gun and scope worked on the first shot.
I was impressed with cables microtex pants and shirt. Both of those items worked extremely well. I also liked my lowas sheep hunter boots. Basically a great hunt that you have to be in excellent shape and a desire to work your but off.
