Hunters feeling frustrated by the Fund for Animals latest protest of banning hunting in National Wildlife Refuges in Arlington, Virginia? Wow, this is the best news ever! People and their pets are being shot at an alarming rate by hunters every year, many of the shootings have unfortunately proven to be fatal, yet hunters go free and kill again.

Most of the people were "mistaken" for a Deer and/or other innocent Wildlife, by an overzealous hunter. Hunters are influenced by their low moral peer group that harbor much biased discrimination against Animal Rights Activists. Hunters not only victimize and murder innocent people, their pets, livestock, and destroy private property with intent to criminally trespass on posted-private property, hunters steal anything they can find, hunters also destroy public property. Hunters use public roadsigns, power pole transformers, abandoned homes, car batteries(dumped, which releases toxic acid into the soil and environment when shot), mailboxes, and birds for target practice. Microscopic lead "spray" from the trajectory of high powered rifles, pistols, rifles, shotguns, machine guns, and assault weapons - enters the lungs through breathing which is then transferred to the bloodstream then stores in the brain and bone marrow of the lower extremities. Children that are "taught to hunt wildlife using guns are susciptible to lead poisoning, decreasing their chances of acquiring a decent job later in life. How does this happen you ask?

For every 10 (micrograms)mcg/dl(deciliter) increase in blood lead levels, there is a lowering of mean[average] I.Q. Intelligence Quotient in children by 4 to 7 points. An average loss of 5 points places 50% more children into the I.Q. 80 category, meaning exposing lead to children in any form, especially shooting of guns, decreases that same child' future of living a decent and rewarding life. Most of all victims of hunting are born into poverty, and usually stay at that level if they continue to hunt later in life. Lead contributes to delinquincy and violence in some children, reduces I.Q. even at low levels of exposure, causes short attention spans, and lack of control of impulses. Childrens bodies absorb lead more than adults and cause mental retardation, behavioral disorders by children born of parents, either of whom were exposed to excess lead levels. Ducks and Geese have been poisoned by the lead shot that has infiltrated our lakes, rivers, and streams because of hunters throughout history of shooting water fowl. This lead is still in our lakes from the shotshells contaminating our water supply. Who will clean this lead contamination up, certainly not the hunters of whom are at fault for this. The lead was being found in dying Ducks and Geese' gizzards which eventually killed the Ducks and Geese within a few weeks after being swallowed while eating from the lakes, rivers, and streams of previously hunted areas.

Hunters should be labeled as: The New Domestic Terrorists because hunters of Wildlife purposely place other peoples' lives in jeopardy by shooting towards them for kicks. Hunters assault, threaten, slander, and target innocent Non-Hunting citizens simply because hunters cannot stop hunting, hunting is an addiction, much like drugs and alcohol. Five out of Seven marriages to hunters end in divorce. The wives leave the hunter/husband because he is always at the hunting club with his buddies instead of being home and/or dragging dead Wildlife home for the wife to "process", especially at Christmas time to open the gifts, daddy would rather be at hunting camp slaughtering Wildlife.

Hunters also drive drunk increasing the chances of killing other innocent drivers on our nations highways, hunters dump beer cans, beer bottles, trash from drive-ins, dead Dogs(hunters shoot their hunting Dogs, then dump the remains in peoples' ditches in rural areas), hunters also dump pieces of Deer and other Wildlife in landowners ditches.

Hunters shoot innocent people every year, and call "it" and "accident" yet hunters the very next year are allowed to purchase a hunting license to possibly kill another innocent human being this same upcoming year.
Just say NO to hunting, you will be doing the Wildlife and human beings a giant favor.

Painful!!!! I couldn't take much more of that. I went and read some of the posts on that forum and it hurt my head. I don't want to go on too much about it, but that is a perfect illustration of the 'left' and their un-educated arguments. By the way, in the post you quoted here, the person forgot to mention the humans and pets that had to processed from dad's Christmas-day hunts.

Outragous!! I can't help but laugh at the thought of "Microscopic lead spray", "The new domestic terroists", "The wives leaving the hunter/husband because HE is always at the hunting club with his buddies instead of being at home", "Shooting their own dogs", and the best "Killing innocent people every year..."

All these ideas or views surrounding hunters seem like a case of mistaken identity. I think this group of extremists should stop smoking ditch weed and realize that hunters should not be used as a sort of escape goat for all the world's problems.

This write up seems to be targeting males, since this individual refers to hunters as being a "He or Husband", so I'd hate to knock the credintial of this well processed views surrounding hunters, but I think this is just a pissed off Feminist Extremists that is mad that her husband is off shooting guns, hanging out with his buddies, and just all around having to much fun.

This is just Quicksilver 101. Now I'm off to shoot my guns for my daily dose of Microscopic lead spray and maybe for an extra bonus I'll shoot my fifteen hundred dollar hunting dog then leave him in my neighbor's flower garden!!

I wouldn't know where to start. Faulty premises, faulty analogies, faulty syllogisms, faulty data...this is the kind of propaganda typically seen from third-rate dictators. There's a former Iraqi information minister out there that could get a job with these people.

Ha, Ha! That is by far some of the funniest prose I have read on this board. That is quite a compliment to the anonymous author, because there are some funny folks around here.

I'm a hunter, so by the authors reasoning I'm also a divorced, drunk, trespassing, pet killing loser.

Worse I have the intellegence of a gerbil (bear with me here this thing they call "typing" is really stressing my higher cognitive powers) and my offspring are so retarded they can bearly walk without falling over. Not that I see the kids much since my ex-wife has had custody ever since I went around "accidently" shooting people that I mistaking identifed as a varmit...well... ok, there were those few people I shot at just for kicks. I had to admit the "kicks" part in rehab, before the fish and game would allow me to buy another license... By the way rehab was great, I got to meet OJ! Go OJ!

well gotta go now... this has been kind of like a "flowers for algernon" moment... before i lapse.... into .........light getting very dim........ squeak....

This article really explains a lot. After years of inhaling microscopic lead spray and molding bullets, I have two master's degrees and a highly successful career. Obviously, my activities have prevented me from getting a PhD, solving the Fermat equation, curing cancer, and locating Jimmy Hoffa's body. Darnit! Perhaps I should sue ammunition manufacturers for the prize money I would've won but for their product. Duuuuuh...

Yet I can still prevent my kids from making my mistakes. No more hunting for them; from now on it's indoor stuff like video games and like, TV and stuff. Anyone can see in the news how a steady diet of video games and such makes our kids much smarter and our schools a lot safer. Note how the level of school violence has dropped as hunting has declined among the youth.

I'd input a smilie for sarcasm, but I don't know what it is. Perhaps if I didn't hunt I'd have enough imagination to create one.

Not everyone is going to understand hunting like we do. Those people are urban dwellers, you can't fight all of them at once. It really pays not to get emotional over them, in fact, you'll live longer.

Why don't the people walking their dogs have on hunter orange, I would think they would be smart either not to walk during a hunting season where a stray bullet could even get them or put something orange on? anyways if that lead spray thing was true I wouldn't know how to type this post!!!!!!! lol
