hehehe I lived in Cimmeron (16 miles west of Dodge) for a while, while I was refitting the Excell plants electrical. In that 16 mile drive every morning I could count in the LEAST 40 deer out feeding. LOVED it there. Sure wish I could land a good job there so I could move (hint hint CVC  ) |

Took the advice given and I'm back in business. I'm all tuned, but as CVC knows it is a little windy today. I'll adjust the sight next when it's not quite as windy.
Was my first time tying a loop, so I hope it works alright. The first one I tied, I got the flame too close to the loop and the first pull snapped it. Need a little practice in that dept.
I put a nock set on the bottom knot of the loop to help keep the nock in the same spot. Just being overly cautious, but will this hurt anything?
Thanks everybody, I'm sure I'll have more questions to come  |

No it won't hurt anything.
It just adds a bit more resistance to the string. Will probably slow the launch down by 5 or so fps.
Congrats on resetting your rig. Some day we may be asking you questions
Be sure to check your sight pins. |

Ugh I am having bow problems right now also. I tried adjusting my pins because at 10 yards I was shooting high and to the left. Well I move my 10 yard pin down a little bit, and proceeded to shoot 2 arrows above my target, then shot 2 at the target but 5" high, then on my last shot I lost an arrow. Not in a very good mood.
Want to buy someone to sight my bow in for me :( |

If you are shooting high you want to move your pin up. Shooting left move pins left.
Basically move the pins in the direction you are off target.
If you need to maybe you can come up to the lake and figure it out if you need to. |

| Red is correct... Chase your arrow with the pin... Shooting high move up... shooting low move down and so on. |

Yea I noticed I was making that error after I got frustrated and quit practicing today. I knew which way I was supposed to move the pins, but I completely blanked out while doing it because of frustration.
I'm gonna go to the archery range over in Olathe tomorrow to help out and prevent further loss of arrows. |

Where is this range at, or are you talking about the range at the bow shop in Olathe? Always looking for closer places to practice other than Shawnee Mission Lake range. |
