I've done Africa several times. for a PG hunt your best deals will be in Namibia. Beg off any "package deal" that doesn't include in writing your trophy fees refunded for each species not killed or wounded. Book thru a USA booking agent and have him hold your funds until you make a call via satelite phone for him to release them from camp.
* Be certain you are booking a trophy hunt and not a cull hunt
** take 99% of what you read on any internet site such as accuratereloading.com with a huge grain of salt. Especially be wary of the booking agents and safari operators whom cruise accurate reloading looking for clients. There are a few above board operators there but the majority are after your $$.
*** Zimbabwe offers lower priced hunts....be extremly wary of agents offering hunts there. most guys book Zimbabew for Big 5 hunts at lower rates than say Botswana or Tanzania but for PG your still better off with Namibia
*Unless your comfortable with planted/stocked game beg off the RSA "Cape" hunts you see advertised at low prices...they are little more than shooting preserves.
