I wash my clothes in borax and keep them separate from everything else. I then spray them down with a scent killer. If I get busted it is from moving and not scent.

Okay Borax it is and I was aware that I needed to handle the way my clothes were washed and going to get Borax instead of Tide …and be ready for opening day for Bow. Thanks you!

There are some commercial scent killer detergents, but I find Borax to be effective and cheap.

Detinitely would stay away from products like Tide.

This may be a bit extreme but I keep my clothes vaccume sealed until I use them again. I put a small handfull of fresh pineneedles, or other leaves, ect in with them. I wash them using baking soda, although I have heard good things of borax. I also always use the scent sprays.

vacuum sealing sounds like a good idea. No sense taking the steps to wash them and then have them pick up household scents.

I don't have the means to vaccuum seal so I just keep mine in a plastic container.

The ONLY sure-fire method of scent control is a steady breeze (wind can swirl). I've used most everything on the market in terms of scent control at one point or the other. My opinion is that they can help, but nothing will hide you from a deer/elk's nose 100%. These days I just use the scent eliminator detergent, bath the night before with some kind of scent eliminator shampoo and soap, but I rely mostly on the wind.
