Don't eat coyote meat for sure. Coyotes, depending on location, carry many nasty viruses/disease. Check with your Wildlife Dept about the Do's &Don'ts

| You could check your area for a Fur Buyer, Around here there are several fur buyers that will take the whole animal. |

| Just remember you are providing a service when you kill the coyote. You are keeping their numbers down and thus allowing the other game animals on which they prey to live. |

I recently heard that trying to keep populations in check by hunting is almost futile. I guess they are able to increase or decrease thier litters based on present population density. It is very amazing. You'd keep them in check for that season though I suppose. We're over populated in my area. I've seen patches of woods where it seemed like everything was cleaned out, and nothing but coyote tracks everywhich way. |

Yes, and in some cases you can create a small population boom by killing the alpha's. They may control a territory that, when they are killed, is divided by two sets of alpha's. |

I would start with local sport shops and see if they could help you locate one in your area. You could also try getting in touch with your states Trappers association, They would know of fur buyers in the area..
Good Luck, |
