I was wondering how many tags you guys normally get in ON for whitetails? I'll have 3 this year (just got my last one this morning), all for rifle 2 antlerless only (in different areas) and one buck/doe tag.
I know you can get a maximum of 7 total, I was wondering if anyone gets that many and if they all get filled?
Now I'm counting down the days to the first week of november... |

When I can I've been getting two. My primary tag often gets used on my traditional rifle deer hunt in Parry Sound (often on someone else's deer), so the second provides me with the opportunity to get out in the late season near home. However, last year I managed to get a doe during the M/L season, and had to quit right then.
This year I've bought two extras for a total of three. The third tag is for another zone, to both keep the opportunity to hunt open, and to try another area if things aren't happening in my nearest zone. |

My area only allows one also but I use it around home and at the familys farm.
I know what you mean teal every year I hope to get a bear on the opening day this year was my first year getting one on the first day and I couldnt get an additional seal so I had to quit opening day but it kinda sucked in a way cause my hunting was over in an hour, but NOW IM PUMPED archery moose opens here in the morning Ill be hitting that full tilt. Ill let you guys know how it goes. Everything else opens on the 15 like almost all small game I went out the other day to see if I could stir up some rabbits but the damn beavers in the pond next to my rabbit spot washed the whole bush right out so where the rabbits always were is now under about 5 feet of water and ten feet of mud. |

Well I got my anterless for WMU 58. But I also picked up 2 for 64A and 2 for 64B.
Did the same last year, only tagged 2 deer. Just like being prepared.
Besides, bought a 100 acres this year in 64A so, hopefully I'll use both of them.
I hunt with buddies in 64B so I always get a couple just in case.. |
