| Has anyone used the Lee Classic Loader? I have been thinking of re-loading, and was interested in this product. I was thinking of using it for a 30-30. I wanted some honest input. I don't always trust the reviews I read. Thanks. |

If you just want to try your hand at reloading, go for it, if you want to get semi-serious about reloading I would be looking at RCBS gear.
Spending less that twenty bucks for a piece of reloading equipment can never be too bad an idea.

| Are you talking about the Lee classic loader or the Lee classic turret loader. I have the turret loader for my rifle calibers but no experience in the hand classic loader. |

I started out with one of those and would recommend it. One extra thing I'd get tho is one of the Lee case trimmers in your cartridge. Case streach is not so bad as it could be because your not dragging the neck over an expander plug but cheap as it is, I wouldn't go without it.
It only does one thing well. It makes good safe ammo! |

| Yes, the hand loader is the one I was talking about. Thanks for the input. I will definately get one and try it out. I've been wanting to get my hands into reloading, but wanted to make sure it was what I wanted to do before spending serious money. Thanks again! |

Don,
When I order should I get extra case trimmers? Or are they pretty good quality tools? I know so little about reloading, I don't want to waste money I don't need to, but I also don't want to have to reorder due to ignorance on my part. :](*,) |

| No, you shouldn't need extras. The time comes you wear it out you'll probably be ready to move on to a regular trimmer anyway. Then again you might like it so well you get another. Lee tools are often sinplicity in themselves. Most are not fancy but all of them work well. My Lee auto prime is about 10yrs old now. It's my second and the first one lasted from whenever they first came out. Don't remember when that was but a long time ago. |
