he sure looks heavy !!! Nice goat I have never seen 1 like that. I love odd balls
Is that one going on the wall?
I had a buck come into my water hole this year and his horns grew straight over his head. He would of scored around 75ish I had him dead to rights at 10 yards but at the very last second he spooked and I had to watch him walk away. I did this for hrs after he left :](*,) :](*,) :](*,) :](*,) |

he got him in the Pahsemoroi valley in Idaho (between Salmon and Challis) with a 25 WSSM.
and Muley , bloods one of reasons of the pic angle, bullet entered the chest from broadside and deflected off the offside ribcage someway and exited at the top of the brisket, after he get the cape washed out we will see if it is salvageable, he will mount it himself.
what was the spread on that dandy of yours ? |

Couple of nice Antelope. We had one around here several years ago that had its horns growing straight out of the side of its head, sotrs looked like an airplane! Antelope hunting around here is an iffy thing. Hard to get a tag and last few years population is really down. Lots of coyotes anound and since dogs were stopped on mountain lions, more and more lions. Going to get a whole lot more serius about coyotes this fall.
Muley Crazy, nice photo. Blood not that noticeable. Thanks for caring, to many grewsome photos running around. |

dpmule He was right at 13 wide
How long did it to get that tag? I have been putting in for 15 years here in ID and have only drew 3 times frist at age 12, 13, and then at 17 it is sure tuff to get a tag anymore!
Fisher thanks for the bit on the blood I take a lot of time and pride in my pics I tried to get most of the blood off but ran out of water and it was getting late. I like my pics to look more like this (this years goat ) |

| MC, this is going to cut your heart out. He drew this tag in the second chance drawing, I also put in regularly and then again on the second chance, have one nephew that draws every other year on Antelope just like it was a across the counter tag, go figure. |

I have been hunting antelope in Co and Wy for over 35 years now. The crossed heart shape rare, but is not a freak. According to two different game biologists, the crossed heart occurs in about 1 buck out of 1,000. I think it is probably a decent estimate. I got one very similar to yours in 1977 up near Casper Wyoming. However, I have only seen one other in all the years I've hunted.
Consider yourself very fortunate. Not everyone will get a chance at one with horns shaped like that in their lifetime. By all means, get him mounted. He deserves it. |
