| Never shot one but I remember seeing them years back. I was in the Navy at my A school at Dam Neck Va. Behind our barracks there was swamp and in the morning when we would do our run they would be on the grass by the swamp or running across the road. Big bastards running in groups pretty freaky the first time I saw them. I think a 22 Mag or 17 HMR would down em out to hundred with a well placed shot. |

| a friend of mine has a pair of nutria teeth. there about 4 inches long and all orange and yellow creepy!!!!!! |

| We have some here in Texas, and I have killed a few. Not too agressive to humans, will drown a dog if they follow into the water. Act sort of like a coon. I would say .22 MAG or Shot Gun out to around 50 Yards, go for the head. |
