| I am seeking some trap bait for steel traps. I am having alot of coyote and cat problems and need to try and catch some. My grandfather used to catch a coyote and keep him in a cage to catch his urine and it worked great on trap lines. Eveything that came along would try and mask the smell and get caught. Does anyone have any other ideas for I do not have a place to keep a live coyote for a couple of weeks. |

| Some of the best bait for both of them is rabbit and *****cat. Not sure on the cage to keep a Coyote., I'd build a strong one though, they can be nasty when locked up. In some states it's illegal to have caged wild animals without a permit. You can purchase coyote and bobcat urine from a lot of trapping supply stores. |
