I have not owned a CZ 97. However it is based off a 75 which is a distinct design more similar to a brownings highpower than brownings 1911. The mags may possibly be identical to those used in a high capacity 1911 design, although these are not standard either. Kimber uses a different high cap mag for their 1911, than springfield and para. Basically I don't think any of the parts would be interchangeable with a 1911.
The CZ 75 and 85 are well regarded, I don't know about the reliablity of a 97 though. |
