What kind of class did you take - one on precision rifle building or one on long range shooting?
I'd like to take a long range shooting class - really want to be able to hunt and make shots at to 1000 yards.
Just kidding of course about the 1000 yard shots - just would like to do it to be a better shooter. |

no class...just like me ::neener:
the way i see it if you are going to set a precision rifle up, you basically have two choices...
-benchrest
gather info from benchrest shooters, sites etc
or
-tactical
gather info from tactical shooters, sites etc.
i chose the later.
class subjects varied from equipment, optics, ballistics, etc...
the class was instructed primarily by ex leo, and military personell, as well as a smallbore rifle shooting instructor and a physician
here is a link to class description...

was VERY interesting, and extremely affordable.
the rifle i put together....

Savage 10FP .308
Bell and Carlson Tactical Medalist stock
harris 6-9 bi pod
badger ordinance 20 moa base
burris xtreme 30mm rings
nikon 2.5-10 tactical scope
vais removable muzzle brake
eagle scope and muzzle protectors, and stock pouch
i am very satisfied w/ the rifle and the class. |
