| same cat two hours later, notice the bait is completly gone. We couldn't find the carcass...they can cart those things for miles! |

They're alot of fun. We have two digital cams built by Leaf River. They work ok. I think there are faster cameras on the market now, we have some trouble with getting pictures of an animals hind end.
The bait is the best way to keep the animal in the frame and get multiple pics. You will have to cover the bait completely with grass/branches to keep the birds off. Otherwise you'll fill your memory with raven, crow, magpie pics.
Make sure to get a digital, they're way handier! |

| What area is this place? Are you hunting this cougar? or have a cougar tag? Want me to shoot it, I can shoot it as long as their on Indian Treaty land :P Just playin'. Naw, really we are going to start hunting cougars in Jan/Feb down here around the Umatilla Reservation. Them are nice, I see these cams alot, going to have to look into one. |
