Mr Nail,
You have hit that one right on the head....there is more winter kills and disease and everything bad....like for instance for a few years we had problems with Blue Tounge....and it was in the anamials bad...shoot check and walk away cause you cant eat them and you get in trouble for having the horns or any body parts...but blue tounge comes from stagnant water...these PETA people suck... |

| My guess would be that the Bunny Huggers would much sooner see the animals die from diseases or starvation as aposed to the hunter and trapper maintaining a healthy population . It's been a way of life since way back .when the first settlers landed in this world ,and now some idoits with too much time and money on their hand wants to change the way we live . I don't know what the hell is wrong with those people . JUST BLEEDING HEARTS . One would think that they would feel sorry for the critters now dieing from diseases ..Who would be to blame when some species become extinct form diseases . NOT THE HUNTER OR TRAPPER ON THAT ONE !!!!!!! |

I think it would be easier on the animals to go quickly in a coniber or snare, rather than sit in a live trap for 12 hours then get drowned or shot. These people just don't have a clue.
A rancher friend of mine put it very simply " I wish a coyote would grab their laptop or briefcase and chew it to shreds, then they might have an idea what we feel every time a coyote gets a calf, it's our livelihood"
I like thay analogy. I wish a coyote would kill their pet, like they did my dog. It might get the bambi image out of their minds when they watch their dog get shredded by a couple of coyotes...like my wife did. |

| im with you all the way coyotes are about as worthless as poopy flavored lolly pop....I know a guy up here in my neighborhood who has been trapping since he was a kid like my self and he put it real simple....when he started trapping it was ok to use leg holds and snares...now he uses live traps...he explains it like this...."before all I had to do was shoot the in the trap....now I dump them in a burlap bag and beat them aginst a tree until there isnt any more movement"....I myself would like to have this on video for the King Co tree huggers...or for instance like you all have said....get it on video of how a pair or more of coyotes trears the family doggie scooter apart infront of the kiddies and show no mercy....or how a bear rolls your garbage can down the street 3 blocks to eat a bannna peel....or how a cougar will mow down calves and little ponies....I mean seriously....damn good thing im graduating in less then 3 months...Washington and its great ideas for regualtions can get screwed...im out.,... |

There is a new Blog in the Halifax Hearold where trappers get a chance to fight back with PETA... Instead of just their voice being heard . This is the link
