| Anybody here ever harvest rattlesnakes? Where we live there are plenty of them and I'm interested in bringing home some rattlesnake for the BBQ. I'm interested in techniques for taking them. |

A forked stick to hold down his head and a long knife will do the jub. Just don't touch the head after you cut it off. The fangs can still inject venom hours after the head has been severed. Don't mess with them until they're strung out. They're really only can strike when they're coiled. If you do shoot them, cut the head off before you pick it up, or better yet stick with cottontail or pheasent, safer!
