| January, after a good snow. They are hungry, fully prime and usually running in pairs. |

| ya i'd have to prob agree with you on that time frame. anywhere from january til the snow leaves is good time around here too. but like you said you need the fresh snow and lots of it. more snow ya can get the more harder it is for them to get food, so if your hunting over bait this is great for the hunter :thumbsup1: |

| I agree with the above would would like to add something. The coyote "rut" is upon us and love is in the air....as well as an intense need to defend territory. Now it's time to mix our critter in distress calling with some lone male howls and female invitation howls. |

| I think you are right Todd I picked up 2 more today in snares 50yds apart as well as 1 yesterday in same area 2 males and 1 female. |
