GUNS just did a feature on the new ES model. I have been wanting one real bad but still to young to buy one. How bad does it really kick. Which model do you have?

| If you can shoot a 454 casull you can handle the 460. it's pretty stout you got to hang on but it is managable. I have just the plain jane 460 XVR X-frame in stainless with the 8 3/4" barrle and a Leupold 3-7X scope. |

S&W hit a home run with the 460. The ability to shoot three cartridges and the potential to hit 2200fps at the muzzle w/ 200gr slug makes it a super choice for big game handgun hunters.
I think 460S&W will see wider adoption than the 500S&W. |

| I have been shooting the S&W 460 Mag for over 2 years now. I love the round, the only round I like more is the 500 Mag. |

| 460 what three rounds can u shoot in it. i know the 454 u can shoot 45 i believe but what about the 460?? |
