If the cost didn't matter and you could hunt aanything in the world, what would be your top five choices?
Here's my five:
Dall Sheep
Rocky Mt Bighorn Sheep
Mexican Mule Deer
Impala
Gemsbok |

Bongo - that's a small animal that lives deep in the jungle isn't it? I think I saw them being hunted recently. Quite different hunting from plains game. |

CVC..................no bongo are a large robust antelope. They do live in the jungle and they are hunted in Cameroon, CAR, Congo, etc A big bull is an awesome trophy weighing 500 poinds or more. It is a member of the spiral horned antelope (kudu, bushbuck, eland, nyala, lesser kudu, etc) They have a dark red body with white stripes like a kudu. Old bulls become almost black over the head and shoulders.
You are probably thinking about the small antelope like the various duikers. |

Ok, I looked it up. Pretty cool looking animal.
Just curious, what would a hunt for a trophy elephant cost? I imagine really big bucks? |

If you go on a straight trophy bull elephant hunt about the cheapest hunts I know of are in Zimbabwe and again, are elephant only. They go for around $39,000 including the trophy fee.
In other areas like Tanzania you would need to book a 21 day safari to be eligible for an elephant licence and by the time the dust settles you will be more in the area of $65 to $70,000 as long as you don't shoot anything else. |

| Yes ..............it is a rush. I have been in and around them when hunting buffalo and would love to do the elephant one day, but that is a lot of money and not within my means I am afraid. I will continue to buy lottery tickets and hope for the best. :D |

Certainly challenging with a rifle, but that would be some serious adreneline rushes with a handgun! |
