i have a simmons 8point scope that came on my .17 that i recently bought can i put this on a muzzle loader instead or is it not going to be able to withstand the recoil

I tried to find some info to address your question and just couldn't find anything.
I would just try it, may be just fine.
You're going to have to find easier ???? for us old guys :P :P :P
