This bill also legalizes the use of natural, or manmade, non-living bait—or, any electronic or mechanical device—to attract coyotes for hunting or trapping, as well as the use of any decoy to hunt or trap furbearers. :thumbsup1:
The Pennsylvania Predator Hunters Association has been pushing this issue hard for the past year. Thier efforts have not gone unnoticed. They were able to overturn a law that required the use of florescent orange for coyote hunters. They contended that hunting coyotes would be impossible without camo and that this law was only created to stop poachers from claiming they were coyote hunters, which was completely unfair to the real predator hunters.
As for the Families affied bill......... Ed Rendell, my hats off to you for supporting the sportsman of your state. Even if you are a democrat :roll: |
