Looks like I have a break in my schedule first weekend in Aug. Thinking of heading towards Colorado with wife, kids, and my Dad. Will be kind of a short trip (Fri. - Mon.). Was wondering what might be some points of interest or activities we should check out in our short amount of time. Planning on being around the Colorado Springs area.
I know Hiker is some where close to the area, so maybe we'll come in and buy a truck :D |

Redrider,
Lots of things to do and places to go. You could go to a Rockies game, Drive to the top of Pikes Peak or Mount Evans, I think they're both open now. Go to the Denver Zoo, Imax theater/ Nature science museum or Elitches. Casa Bonitas, Georgetown Train, Heritage Park in Golden. I can suggest some good places to eat also if you'd like. Let's try to hook up while you're here. |

| I don't know if your ino rodeo but the PRCA hall of fame is in Colorado Springs. |

| colorado springs has several cool things close by: garden of the gods, pikes peak, cave of the winds, royal gorge and then everything hiker mentioned here in denver. |
