i've only taken two moose with the o9ngbow, both from the ground, simple stalk from down wind and wait for a good quartering away shot, then full draw and zing.
I use cut on contact heavy bear or zwickey heads and 1000 grain arrow combos for penetration.
Most areas I hunt moose in I tree stand is not beneficial as you would be hunting for a tree able to hold you not for the moose.
watch the wind and you'll be fine on the ground.
