All of my geese are still here and in two weeks time they are going to miss their flight! I might think about letting a couple through it you really want me to. :smile:

No that is OK you can keep the geese.
I just like to watch them fly over, but any other ducks you can send along. |

I'm afraid I will have to keep a few of those mallards and blacks up here. I've invited a few to live in my freezer... hopefully they will take me up on the offer.
I was mowing on the golf course this morning and one of the marshes had about 400 mallards and blacks (a dozen Canadas mixed in) just swimming around. Boy, I wish I could hunt there. |

ChesterGolf, what do you do hunt those hand fed golf coarse birds? HA! HA!
Just put a trail of cracked corn down to your freezer, you will be all set.
Boy I wish I could find a flock of birds like that. The most blacks that I can find at a time is about 75.
We have more mallards showing up each year.
Do you have any wood ducks?

Unfortunately, we are not allowed to hunt within 200 yds of the golf course. They are all wild ducks though. My course is on the Atlantic ocean and when the tide is high they come in to feed. A beautiful sight but it sure gets the trigger finger itchy.
Too bad I couldn't get those ducks to line up and walk in the freezer. At the same time maybe I can convince them to take off their feathers before they get in.:smile:
We have wood ducks but they are scarse.

Now, Chestergolf, if you perfect this cracked corn, walking, de-feathering, freezing duck prep process; you just let me know 'cause we could get a patent and just make ourselves a killing. :wink:
Although I'm not on the atlantic flyway (for sure!) I have been seeing more geese lately. Fall is here! |

Bitmasher, I don't see why it wouldn'y work. Some good advertising should do the trick. If Remington can sell the 710 rifle anything is possible.:smile:

Hey now you talking! We need marketing Maybe we could get that damn aflac duck to star in our commercials!
I bet a bunch of people would pay money just to see that duck get its goose cooked! :wink:
Not sure if you have Aflac up there but seems to be all over the TV down here... |

Awww, I liked the defeathering freezing idea better. A duck that has been that pampered would have to taste great, don't want to waste any to a bad shot (not that you would be a bad shot, just don't want to take any chances with a positively prestine duck). Yum!
Nice to see that you Canadians have annoying commericals too. :wink:

| Damn, how did they get through. Actually, the season hasn't started up here yet... another week or so. Our gov't generally tries to wait until they have all flown south before we open the season. :wink: |
