| Me myself think the yotes followed all the other smells to that pile hoping to catch something in your baitpile from behind is just what I personally think. |

Yeh, they will eat apples for sure.
This past deer season I was hunting an area that I hunt in and every 50 yards on an ol tote road there was coyote droppings full of apples and deer hair.
