Those things will eat anything but they been know to enjoys a feed of apples for sure. Anything that will eat and swallow porcupine quills, frozen turnip or a pizza box doesn't care

Redrider , The pic of the ground blind I posted had to be abandoned because of the coyotes . When I first put it up .There was deer hitting the aples Then the coyoyes took over On the opening day for deer I went to wy stand to sit for the day and found not a deer track The roads all round my blind were full of coyote dropings full of my apples My son had a bear and coyote at his but not as thick as I had them. I had to relocate .Now I have numerous deer and 1 coyote track at my apples They will eat anything with food value in it .Talk about scavengers

I found a way to keep the coyotes out of my apples . I took a meshed apple bag and filled it with apples to ward off the coyotes . This looks to suspisous for them and they don't bother to go near . The deer will paw at the bag until they get every apple out . This happens after they clean up the ones on the ground

redrider , It is the orange or red meshed bags that the apples come in . The bags are about 2 1/2 to 3 ft long . Since I put that out all I see is deer tracks .Coyote too nervous to go handy the bag I set it right beside my apple pile
