Hello all. I am new to the forum and new to Colorado as well. I live in the foothills area and am wondering if there is anywhere reasonably close to hunt birds. I don't have a dog and am just looking for a few promising fields/areas of public land to stomp through a few times this season. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help. I hope to be able to return the favor!

Hi, I am new to CO. also (Broomfield), and am also looking for someone to bird hunt with. I actually was going to hunt Blue Grouse this week but it rained. I am planning to hunt Pheasant and Quail in Nov./Dec.
Email me so we can talk, kelly_stitzer@yahoo.com

Welcome to the site to both of you.
I used to live in Brighton and in Greeley but most my hunting in Colorado was big game. For bird hunting I just bought birds and took the dogs out on the plains. |

Did you guys make it out hunting? If you did how were the Birds? I've been hunting out by Holyoak and into Nebraska the last few years with good luck. I'm hoping to not have to get a Nebraska license this year. I didn’t want to go out with the 1st weekend madness but do plan on going a few times this year. :thumbsup1:
