|
|
I recently moved to Illinois, and I am quite unfamiliar with the hunting here. Is anybody from Illinois? Is there any hunting for coyotes here? If so, where would be my best bet to start looking? Is there anything else to hunt here besides deer?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I've been hunting for quite a while, but I have no idea what to go after in IL. |

| I lived right next door most of my life in Indiana and Illinois is like most states and full of coyotes. Illinois has some pretty good eastern turkey hunting too and some good pheasant hunting and also some very good duck hunting along the MS. river. |

coyote is all year round.....you can use rifles.....at times its even 24 hrs a day....
you can find public lands here: http://dnr.state.il.us/lands/L.....region.htm
certain places have site specific seasons and rules....so check em out before you head out! |

I'm in a suburb of chicago-I know I'll have to drive a ways to get to any hunting land, but some good hunting would be worth it.
thanks for the dnr site-I couldn't get anything like that when I looked. |
