Youth Big Game licenses

If my boys apply for a non resident youth license for the $105 for elk, can they also get a mule deer tag without additional expense? Do you just list it a s one of their 4 choices?

I don't think so

I looked at the CDOW big game brochure and it looks like the deer license costs the same as the elk license. I think you'd have to pay for each. $103.75 each plus the cost of the habitat stamp.

Actually the CO Habitat stamp is only required for hunters between 19 & 64 years of age. So your son wouldn't need one, since he's a youth.

I think you're right about paying for each one. I started second guessing myself after I applied for their tags thinking maybe they could have gotten a mule deer tag along with an elk tag for one price as a youth. I was going to revise my application if it were so. Thanks

NH Hunter, I'm glad you brought it up, because I had forgotten my 12 year old daughter didn't need one.
